Emily is a illustrator of many trades. Along with her independent books and illustration Emily has work in the Indy and small press comic field from the Metro Detroit area.
Emily uses digital and traditional material such as pen and ink, paint and charcoal, for the foundation of her illustrations which draw from sources such as myth and folktales. As she gains understanding from these old tales, her goal is to express lessons through art and continue the tradition of passing on wisdom while keeping it fun and adventurous.
I can be found at the Michigan Renaissance Festival at Ormworks booth #615.
